In the top floor apartment of this multi-family house in Basel's St. Johann, the warm wood accents create a natural and inviting atmosphere in the kitchen. The continuous installations provide practical storage while ensuring a calm, harmonious design, seamlessly integrating the kitchen into the living area.

A kitchen renovation transforms not only the appearance of a room but also how we experience it.
For this private house in Lupsingen, Hochuli replaced the existing built-in kitchen with a new composition, whose centerpiece is a spacious cooking island. It creates a natural place for preparation, conversations, and gathering, making the kitchen more practical for everyday life.
The project coordination also included the careful restoration of the existing travertine floor. The refinished natural stone connects the new kitchen with the original character of the house.

For Open Ride Basel, Hochuli created a custom-designed kitchen that blends robust materials with a distinct aesthetic.
Lacquered fronts made of Nordic pine in a bold blue contrast with brushed stainless steel, which has been used for the fronts, baseboards, and work surfaces. Integrated appliances, sink, open shelves, locker elements, and well-thought-out storage solutions have been meticulously incorporated into the overall design, tailored for intensive use in the studio.
A functional kitchen that consciously sees itself as part of the interior concept – clear, resilient, and unmistakable.
